Mock Orange

2 gallon – $20.00 each (taxes included).

Mock Orange (Philadelphus lewisii) belongs to the Hydrangeaceae family, is a deciduous multi-stemmed shrub that sends out long stems from the base of the plant, and tends to have a rounded shape. It can grow to 6′ to 12′ tall in full-sun to part-shade in a wide range of habitats, and can grow in drier to moist conditions. It flowers from about May to July, and can be pruned to keep it from getting too big and to take out old or dead stems. It is a good wildlife shrub providing shelter, seed, and nectar, while smelling wonderful and visually beautiful for us.
